This week, the City of Lakewood began resurfacing Warren Road from Detroit Avenue to Lakewood Heights Boulevard. Posted detour signs direct motorists to use alternate routes.
Northbound cars are being directed west along the N. Marginal (one way) to Alger, south on Alger to the S. Marginal, and East on S. Marginal to Bunts then North on Bunts to Detroit. Southbound traffic is being detoured east to Bunts Road, south on Bunts to the North Marginal and then west to Warren Road.
Motorists are encouraged to use the posted detour and avoid causing traffic congestion on surrounding streets.
The construction is expected to last 45 Calendar Days. Thank you for your patience while we work to improve the city streets.
The contractor will control the project and be responsible for the street during all activities, and will maintain responsibility for all aspects of scheduling, safety, traffic control and security.
